Holly’s Harmony Bands were originally made as a fidget gadget and as a discreet way to assist individuals to fulfill their needs to fidget in the classroom and workplace  without disrupting others.

What we have found is that they have become so much more than a fidget band for many. They have become a favorite fashion accessory to  wear every day as a fidget band . . . a fashion wristband  . . . and as a hair tie.

Holly’s Harmony Bands are made from soft elastic, so they are comfortable, breathable and stretchy to wear all day long without hurting or leaving creases or irritation to the skin. The nice soft stretchy material offers a soothing, calming and satisfying soft holding feel on the wrist that provides a sense of comfort, calm and happiness while also offering as a substitute and distraction for the brains desire and need to move / fidget.

The Harmony bands are washable, durable, are fade resistant and hard to break, making them perfect for boys and girls of all ages as well as adults.

Sizing

The bands are one size fits most, with the bands being able to stretch out to approx 5″ (13cm) across or 10″ (25 cm) circumference to fit over the hand and onto the wrist.  The band relaxed will fit a wrist size of approx 3.5″ – 7.5″ (9cm – 19cm) circumference around the wrist.

We do find that some smaller wrists the bands are a looser fit, but kids still love them and they dont fall off the wrist, however, we can custom make them to smaller and bigger wrists sizes if needed . . just flick us a message with the wrist measurement and we will get it made for you.

Fidgeting Overview

Many parents have experienced a children who feels the need to be an over the top little fidget pot when its time to sit still, listen and focus.

The need to move can be due to a medical reasoning behind the “fidgeting” or that it comes down to just an individuals habit. Often the cause of fidgeting can be due to numerous causes, often amplified as an outlet or coping mechanism for the when the brain feels stress, pressure  or anxiety from the classroom, workplace or other social aspects of pressure where the body has resorted to fidgeting in order for the brain / mind to process.

What we learnt over the years is that, the brain wants what it needs and there is no point trying to stop the need to fidget, so why not give the brain what it desires and that is to fidget in times of learning or pressure scenarios. . . and so became Holly’s Harmony Band.

Some parents  have never looked back and have found their child is happier and doing so much better now that they have an outlet and acceptance to self manage the fidgeting and in return, parents couldn’t be more satisfied and happier to see their children happy and thriving and moving forward in a positive light.
